VISION

To create a transformative culture of health and wellbeing for humanity by utilizing the principles of Lifestyle Medicine to prevent, manage and, when possible, reverse lifestyle-related diseases like diabetes, obesity, hypertension, metabolic syndrome, depression and so on.

Our members include Allopathic doctors, allied health care professionals like dieticians/ nutritionists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, researchers, educators and scientists.


MISSION

To establish Lifestyle Medicine as the primary approach to health and wellbeing, healthcare and health policy, especially in regard to lifestyle related diseases. To prevent, manage and reverse (where possible) non-communicable, lifestyle related diseases.

To encourage and foster a comprehensive understanding of health and wellbeing, that is not merely the absence of disease and symptoms, but complete physical and mental wellbeing.

To advocate for a multidisciplinary, multi-system approach to chronic and lifestyle-related diseases.

To promote health equity, social justice, corporate responsibility and environmental sustainability.
