Dr. Vinu Vij is an academician and Lifestyle Medicine physician currently serving as an Additional Professor in the Department of Physiology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Nagpur.

She completed her MBBS from Government Medical College (GMC), Nagpur, and obtained her MD in Physiology from KEM Hospital, Mumbai. She further pursued a CPS in Diabetology from Raheja Hospital, Mumbai (2011) and became Board-Certified in Lifestyle Medicine (Dip. IBLM) in 2021.

At AIIMS Nagpur, she has been instrumental in integrating Lifestyle Medicine into both medical education and clinical services. She has served as the Coordinator of the Lifestyle Intervention Clinic since its establishment in October 2021 and also leads the Lifestyle Medicine Electives for MBBS students, fostering early exposure to evidence-based lifestyle approaches in undergraduate training.

She is the Co-Course Coordinator of the Post-Doctoral Certificate Course in Lifestyle Medicine (PDCC-LM), which is a collaborative initiative between AIIMS Nagpur and the Indian Society of Lifestyle Medicine (ISLM).

She  is currently serving her second term as Treasurer of ISLM.
