e-Oral Presentation Guidelines

Live presentations by the Presenter are mandatory- 5 minutes in duration• Discussion/ Q&A- 2 minutes (Negative marking for each 30seconds extra taken by the presenter)

Last date for submission of the ppt: 28.10.2022

Last date for submission of recorded videos: 28.10.2022 (as a backup)

Preparation of presentation

• All presentations should be made using Microsoft Office PowerPoint
• Follow the basic rules for slide making
• Font type and size: Calibri, at least 36 in headings and 24 in body
• Do not use light colours (yellow, light green, or pink) in your figures
• Use clean background and avoid unnecessary animation

• The flow of slides should be as follows: -

1) Title slide (1 slide): - It should contain,
a) Abstract ID and Title
b) Presenting author name and affiliation
c) Name and affiliation of all co-authors (optional)

2) Introduction (1-2 slides)

3) Objectives (1 slide)

4) Materials and Methods (3-4 slides)

5) Results (5-6 slides)

6) Implications and Conclusions (1-2 slides)

7) References in Vancouver style (1 slide)

Please save the name of file as : Oral_subtheme_RegID_AbstractID_Authorname before uploading on the submission link

Recording the presentation

Record your presentations

• The presenter should be available online during the entire e-oral presentation session

• The presentation will be automatically stopped after 5 minutes. Hence, ensure that total duration of recorded presentation is 5 minutes only

• Maintain all essential presentation etiquettes

• Dress the way you would at a face-to-face course and avoid wearing white, stripes or black

• Don’t let your appearance distract.

• Leave the recording to run 5 more seconds before you stop it

• Check the audio and video quality of the recording before sending.

Important Note Your e-Oral presentation will be CANCELLED if

• The presentation is not submitted in the prescribed format on or before the deadline. No correspondence will be entertained further in this regard.

• The presenter is unavailable during the session, his/her presentation will be skipped and will not be provided with a certificate of presentation.
